Ignorance

Ignorance. Such a broad saying. I think may people are ignorant, but many people could say that I am ignorant in some cases and them in others. That's the problem with having a diplomatic mind, I try to see other people's views and beliefs. It's said very well in Harper Lee's novel, to Kill a Mocking Bird, that you can't judge a person until you "put on their skin and walk around in it." But I still think there is no excuse for blind ignorance, refusing to accept what is in front of you, poverty or homelessness, for example. But it people who are ignorant so don't value what should be. Like education or family, because in many countries education and family can't be taken for granted as you might never get the chance to go to school or your family could fall ill and die. That's what gets my goat. That and people blaming someone when the have no control over their situation or their actions.
Sorry everything is a bit gloomy, it's just that I'm noticing so many flaws in everyone everywhere, even my friends. It may be because I can recognise them in myself or that I believe the people who possess  these flaws to be inferior or maybe it's just part of our culture to judge people constantly. Maybe it's our values and cultures we need to change not ourselves but everyone as a whole, maybe we need to value the community rather than the person.
